Responsible for the preparation of preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates and studies during preconstruction
Assure that the estimates, including general conditions, are accurate, complete and reflect the actual requirements of the project
Supports Sales/Marketing in building General Contractor and Architect/Engineer relationships
Participates in design decisions, evaluations, studies, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews etc
Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients
Continuously monitors cost trends in order to detect over-runs and potential problem areas during preconstruction phases
Participation in the preparation of construction schedule for estimating purposes
Regular team building/employee appreciation activities
Responsible for discussing staffing requirements with operations in preparation of building a project team
Evaluate and analyze subcontractor proposals in preparation of subcontracts
