The Facilities Supervisor will support the smooth operation of a high‑security site, reporting to the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with WHS and quality systems, while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive environment.
The Facilities Supervisor position is based in Cessnock, NSW, with BGIS serving a government‑aligned client. It is a full‑time, permanent, on‑site role offering excellent job security. Applicants must be Australian citizens or hold Australian resident status. BGIS acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
The role requires a high school certificate or equivalent, with tertiary qualifications in building or facilities management preferred, and experience in property or facilities management, particularly in corrections, defence, or police settings. Desired credentials include an electrical or trade qualification, a Senior First Aid Certificate, and a current NSW driver licence. Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills are essential.
