The Construction Manager will lead project setup, procurement, on‑site productivity, safety and quality oversight, and reporting while collaborating with estimating, project management, business development, and procurement teams to keep the project on track and within cost targets.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Project Management to set budgets and phase codes in Viewpoint.
- Assist Business Development during contract negotiations as needed.
- Ensure Procore contains up‑to‑date drawings before project start.
- Develop site‑specific safety and quality plans with Safety and Quality teams.
- Create baseline construction schedule and work plans with the project team.
- Obtain purchase orders for long‑lead materials and coordinate equipment acquisitions.
- Solicit, evaluate, and recommend subcontractor bids; secure fully executed subcontracts.
- Manage field activities, including directional boring and other heavy‑civil operations.
- Identify resource needs, set production, safety, and quality goals.
- Update work schedules regularly and track weekly quantities.
- Implement and enforce safety plans for roadways, rock boring, environmental hazards, and fire risks.
- Complete weekly timesheets in Field Time Console and review progress with the Project Manager.
- Contribute to monthly cost‑to‑complete projections and advise the Project Manager.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred) and at least eight years of relevant experience. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, strong analytical abilities, detail orientation, and solid organizational capabilities.
