Monitors building conditions and promptly reports equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions.
Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
Assists with work orders such as filter changes, lamp replacements, minor plumbing repairs, and general facility upkeep.
Performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
Follows all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Supports senior technicians with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks.
Completes documentation of work performed in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Provides customer service to building occupants and responds to requests in a timely manner.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred.
Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as required.
0-2 years of general building maintenance or mechanical systems experience.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, and safety instructions.
