The Proposal Specialist will lead and support high‑profile, strategic pursuits by managing complex EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs while ensuring compliance with Ledcor’s brand and industry standards. Reporting to the Proposal Team Manager, the role requires shifting between coordination and strategy to deliver precise, compelling submissions and to mentor junior staff within a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment in Vancouver, BC.
The position involves overseeing the full proposal lifecycle, partnering with cross‑functional teams to align content with project goals, and integrating strategic win themes that showcase Ledcor’s value. Continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and tools will be driven through collaboration with Marketing and Technology, and outcomes will be analyzed to refine future strategies.
- Lead and coordinate the full proposal lifecycle for EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Ensure all submissions meet Ledcor’s standards, client requirements, and tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate strategic win themes and project goals.
- Conduct compliance reviews and provide expertise in messaging, content planning, and narrative development.
- Tailor proposal content to client‑specific needs and evaluation criteria.
- Mentor and train junior proposal team members, providing onboarding and continuous learning support.
- Maintain and update the proposal content library for accuracy and brand alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining proposal processes, tools, and templates.
- Analyze proposal outcomes to identify lessons learned and share best practices across the team.

Candidates must bring at least six years of experience in proposals, marketing, communications, or project coordination, with three years focused on writing and coordinating complex pursuits in the construction industry. A strong background in AEC business development, advanced writing and visual design skills, and proficiency with digital collaboration platforms are essential.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in proposals, marketing, communications, or project coordination/management.
- 3+ years of experience writing and coordinating proposals for complex construction pursuits.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office for visual design and publishing.
- Experience using digital collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Box, Jungle Docs, Salesforce, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong background in business development and marketing within the AEC sector.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet deadline‑driven project execution.
