Review shop drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), and other construction changes.
Review and prepare mechanical specifications.
Create and maintain mechanical equipment schedule and motorlist.
Assist with fee proposal preparation.
Coordinate or confirm service requirements/connections with the respective utility and/or municipal agencies.
Perform and review heating, cooling, and ventilation load calculations (HAP, TAS, Excel, etc.).
Coordinate mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team.
Direct and supervise Junior and Intermediate Designers within your team to ensure the delivery of quality projects.

LEED® or Passive House Accreditation is an asset.
Able to perform higher-level design tasks independently and effectively, including developing Schematic Designs, collaborating with Energy Analyst to develop energy and carbon analyses.
Experience in Passive House, Aquatics, or District Energy projects is an asset.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) are highly preferred.
5+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
University degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
