Project Engineer

Description

• Assess project requirements, define objectives and constraints, develop budgets, perform feasibility studies, manage staff, providing training and outside presentations as needed.
• Reviewing proposed changes for impact on the project design, budget, or schedule.
• Develop project schedules, set milestones, and coordinate tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time.
• Performing or guiding the technical analysis of the project(s) assigned. Make sound decisions on technical problems and methods related to the work being performed based on established engineering principles and guidelines, and supervisory guidance.
• Preparing reports and presentations that provide raw technical data in a concise and comprehensible manner.
• Monitoring project progress status, compliance with approved scope, and act as the point of contact for inquiries regarding the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Proven capability to efficiently manage a variety of engineering functions, work effectively as part of an engineering team, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD, including Civil 3D, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, organize, and analyze engineering data, and produce comprehensive reports.
• Minimum of 6 years performing related engineering work; or equivalent education and experience.
