The MIS Analyst II designs, develops and enhances management information systems to collect, analyze and process data, while providing technical support and training on various software applications.
Key duties include becoming acquainted with current company software, conducting core group and end‑user training, developing training materials, supporting help‑desk requests, gathering statistical information, and assisting with software vetting, testing, licensing and documentation. Up to 40 % travel may be required, and additional responsibilities may be assigned by the department head.
The analyst will lead the implementation of Autodesk Build across Ace Electric, curating job templates, working with division champions to increase adoption, and training office and field personnel. They will also oversee the rollout of Oracle Primavera Cloud, ensuring uniformity while allowing appropriate customization and facilitating employee buy‑in.
The role requires the ability to analyze large‑scale information, advanced computer skills including the MS Office Suite, and acute attention to detail. Technical proficiency includes a strong understanding of Autodesk Build, familiarity with Oracle Primavera (P6 or Cloud), and knowledge of construction workflows and project management processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation abilities, and the capacity to train and mentor staff in both office and field settings are essential. High organizational skills, self‑driven problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment are also required. Interpersonal strengths include collaboration across diverse teams, negotiation, and adaptability to new technologies and customized approaches.
Candidates must hold a valid state driver’s license, have a high school diploma or GED (a bachelor’s degree in business management is preferred), and possess at least five years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
The position is based in a climate‑controlled office with periods of repetitive motion, prolonged sitting, and frequent use of telephone and computer. Physical requirements include lifting up to 30 lb, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and tolerating extended sitting, with the ability to see and hear well.
