Role

Understanding engineering principles is required to lead and perform engineering designs and collaborate with structural engineers and CADD/REVIT technicians to develop plans, specifications, and estimates to design buildings and other structures.
Bachelors degree in civil/structural engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
Seismic design experience is preferred.
Professional Engineer licensed in at least one State with the ability to obtain licenses in other states within 6 months is preferred.
Ability to travel for business (if required).
Experience with design-build and alternative delivery methods is preferred.
Effective communication skills - both verbal and written.
Experience in plan development, analysis and design calculations, quality control of building structures, and familiarity with IBC, AISC, ACI, AISI, NDS, and state-specific codes.
Minimum 10 plus years of experience in structural design experience.
Experience in using software like Mathcad, RISA, Enercalc, ETABS, SAP2000, and other related engineering software to design structural elements of buildings.
