- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Performs assigned work in compliance with all safe work procedures, guidelines, practices, permits, and air monitoring requirements
- Reads precision instruments as needed such as voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators, and other electronic diagnostic tools
- Operates equipment to perform general equipment repair and installation
- When applicable, uses basic MIG welding of steel and aluminum to complete repairs
- Performs general equipment maintenance
- Builds, rebuilds, and repairs all parts Company equipment as required based on departmental needs

- Working knowledge of most systems located on a truck, truck tractor, or semi-trailer
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
- Diagnoses any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns or failures to a motor truck or related equipment
- Ability to apply knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment required to safely complete work tasks
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record search to Company standards
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- 1+ years of experience in truck trailer maintenance (required)
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CDL (preferred)
