  • Prepare grading, hydrology data, and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Earth Works – Produce Earthwork calculations and adjust grading
  • Produce hydraulic calculations for design of storm conveyances with approved software (StormCAD, PCSWMM, etc.) and prepare storm drainage plans to include storm sewer piping, open channel design, culvert design, and inlet flow calculations (spread calcs).
  • Produce hydrologic calculations using SCS Curve Number Method, Rational Method, and other relevant methodologies for use in design and analysis of water resources projects.
  • Produce flood studies using HEC-RAS meeting standards for FEMA or local jurisdictions' submittals.
  • Design and layout stormwater control measures per local and State standards.
  • Produce hydraulic calculations for design of spillways, detention facilities, and other systems requiring hydrograph routing using approved software (HEC-HMS, PondPack, etc.).
  • Apply a firm understanding of riverine floodplain and floodway concepts as required.
