Mentor and train engineering in regards to power system engineering.
Develop engineering hour estimate and proposals for power system studies.
Develop medium voltage specification for protection and control systems.
Lead multiple projects and manage a team of engineers in executing power system projects.
Independently conduct power system studies utilizing SKM Powertool. Develop detailed report summarizing the results. Dewberry provides our client’s with a variety of power system analysis include the following.
Load Flow Analysis
Assist in developing proportional material and conduct presentations.

Arc Flash Analysis
Develop protective relay settings. Experience with SEL relay are preferred.
EIT or PE is preferred but not required.
Good verbal, writing and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface.
Short Circuit Analysis
Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, IEEE 1584, and National Electric Safety Code
Protection and Control design experience preferred.
Coordination Analysis
BS/BE in engineering or related degree.
7-15 years of power system studies experience.

Power Factor Analysis
Only recipients of an offer of employment from Dewberry, will be required to submit to a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report. These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law.
