We are currently seeking Civil Field Engineering Inspection interns for our Transportation-Construction Management team in the Salem and NOVA, VA areas. As a Civil Field Engineering Inspection intern, you will collaborate with and be mentored by top engineering associates while gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of transportation construction management. The ideal candidate is communicative, a team player, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, and dependable.

Our Construction Engineering and Inspections and Construction Management teams are industry-leading experts delivering full-cycle services from pre-construction through maintenance and operations. Joining the team allows you to contribute expertise across the transportation delivery lifecycle and help shape its evolution.

Pursuing a degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field at an ABET-accredited university
Work independently with general supervision and collaboratively in a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Reach horizontally and vertically as required
Lift/move up to 50 lb and handle up to 20 lb of weight
Prior internship or related experience (preferred)
