Reporting to the Programs Manager, the Activity Aide enriches residents’ lives by facilitating individual and group activities, bringing joy daily. The role is on‑call, with shifts from 8:30 am‑4:00 pm or 12:00 pm‑7:30 pm, and may require occasional extended hours in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment that demands strong time‑management and computer skills.

Plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group activation programs based on assessed needs.
Set up and clean activity areas, transport residents, and monitor behavior and condition during programs.
Report significant changes in resident status to the Supervisor and nursing staff.
Maintain program and resident records per department policy and communicate participation to registered staff.
Collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs.
Provide a recent vulnerable sector check (within 6 months) and a 2‑step TB skin test (within 12 months).
