Our Drilling Services AMO Team assembles and tests the latest drilling equipment, the beating heart of our work, and collaborates with science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience teams to develop innovative drilling tools.
The role is responsible for maintenance, assembly and manufacturing. You will provide specialist support for maintenance and reliability initiatives and work unsupervised on a range of drilling and evaluation down‑hole tools and surface instrumentation within proven competence.
Key duties include reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists, assisting with repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on factory equipment, performing quality‑assurance activities to meet manufacturing, engineering and ISO requirements, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting.
To be successful you should have a diploma or associate degree in an electrical or mechanical field, at least three years of maintenance experience in electro‑mechanical drilling, strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand tools and precision measuring equipment, and the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
