- Value Contract Assets and Contract Liabilities, record associated revenue adjustments in accordance with ASC 606 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
- Support the Financial Audit and Review activities by providing contract support and evidence for selections as requested.
- Support M&A activities with contract evaluation and integration of new revenue streams.
- Drive automation in revenue processes, partnering with Business Systems and IT.
- Assist with valuations, due diligence, and system migrations of acquisitions, as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior revenue staff (analysts or specialists as team grows).
- Develop and enhance revenue analytics dashboards to provide insights into customer, project, and business unit performance.
- Partner with Billing Operations and FP&A leadership to align reporting and forecasting with actual revenue performance.
- Ensure documentation of policies, procedures, and controls for revenue.
- Reconcile the Project Ledger to the General Ledger.
- Demonstrate and ensure conformance with company philosophy, policies, and procedures.
- Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Lead the budgeting efforts for estimated costs at completion, and work with IT and Operations on further enhancements to the project budgeting systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404b for internal controls for revenue recognition.
- Partner with FP&A to align revenue forecasts with pipeline data and actuals.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition and revenue analytics.
- Assist with the preparation of revenue disclosures for SEC reporting, including disaggregation of Revenue and the Analysis of Bad Debt.
- Identify process and systems improvements to streamline revenue reporting and analytics.

- Seven or more (7+) years of accounting experience with significant exposure to revenue processes and ASC 606.
- Effective communication of revenue insights to senior leadership.
- Frequent and prolonged use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- Experience in accounting within a professional services, engineering, or consulting firm strongly preferred.
- Previous public company experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Ability to design and implement process improvements and automation.
- Executive presence and ability to influence decision-making.
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or other project costing Enterprise Resource Planning system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proven leadership abilities.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and exposure to BI/reporting tools required.
- Strong analytical ability and expertise in revenue trend analysis.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA desirable but not required.
- Occasional reaching outward or above shoulder.
