What you would be doing

- Provide timely guidance to code invoices and expenses prior to processing
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of monthly and quarterly cashflow forecast and variance commentary
- Managing team members undertaking transactional processing
- Prepare monthly payroll journals and variance analysis
- Manage the month end close routine including reporting of trial balance, disclosures and IFRS16 calculations, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate
- Calculate monthly revenue accruals and liaise with account managers to minimize unbilled revenue
- Prepare and submit VAT return / Sales tax analysis including reconciliations with general ledger, ensuring transactions processed are compliant with VAT / Sales tax rules
- Support and lead a team of three
- Implement financial policies and assist with continuous improvement in financial processes. Participating in projects to drive change in ways of working
- Review, approve or post month end journals
- Manage the year end audit and prepare information and schedules for company and group auditors
