The Role

Overview

Design and analyze US Navy electrical test facilities, creating diagrams and wiring layouts.

Tasks

-Communicate with others on the project team and with the customer’s technical personnel. -Develop electric power one-line diagrams with assistance from Senior Engineer. -Review system design requirements and establish analyses criteria. -Prepare wiring diagrams or tables. -Develop cabling arrangement models and drawings. -Conduct and document design analyses demonstrating the suitability of designs. -Review and check engineering drawings of cabling routing, cabling support and electrical equipment installation.

What You Bring

-AutoCAD or equivalent experience required; SKM power systems analysis and design software experience preferred. -Work in the NDI Thorofare office is required. -Have strong verbal and written communications skills. -Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance. -Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
