Project: Erection, Fit out and handover of 24 Duplex Apartments to Client
Dealing with any day-to-day problems which could hold up work as they arise.
Ensuring design is fully co-ordinated prior to starting on site where possible
Liaising closely with Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyors Site managers , Finishing Foreman to ensure a high standard of work is achieved.
Overseeing construction operations on your designated sites
Updating and reporting back to head office regularly on progress.
Liaising with clients and keeping them updated on progress and upcoming milestones.
Direct Subordinates: Engineers , Subcontractors.
Working with an appointed safety consultant to ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to.
Works in Conjunction with: Contracts Manager, Site Managers, Design Team, Quantity Surveyors, Health & Safety Advisor, Site Engineers, Nominated Subcontractors
Take ownership of technical delivery and contribute to a high-quality build
Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build & ensuring QA checks are being carried out.
Taking a project from design phase to handover
Monitoring the construction programme and enabling the subcontractors to carry out their works in accordance with their contract programme.
Liaising with Head office to ensure materials and labour are called to site when required.
Carrying out Daily & weekly safety checks and ensuring appointed sub-contractors are adhering to safety protocol.
Co-ordinating day to day site activities and nominated sub-contractors.
Managing Design co-ordination workshops with design team, consultants and trade Contractors
Liaising with Local authority representatives and assigned certifiers to obtain handover of completed phases.
Working closely with junior staff, Sub Contractors, engineers, and external utility companies.
Ensuring that work complies with building regulations where applicable.
Organise and liaise with the factory to schedule deliveries
