Daily duties involve promoting a safe work environment, completing preventive maintenance with proper documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. The role requires tracking inventory, handling loads up to 49 lbs, standing or walking for up to 12‑hour shifts, and traveling up to 20 % of the time.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible scheduling ability, and at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and performing predictive maintenance. Preferred qualifications feature an associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor systems, blueprint reading, CMMS usage, and robotic/electromechanical maintenance.
Physical demands encompass repetitive bending, lifting, and working in confined or noisy environments, as well as standing on concrete for extended periods.
