- Design, develop, and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions
- Monitor and optimize data lake and data warehouse performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Define cost attribution, optimization, and monitoring strategies for the data platform
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in data platforms and related technologies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Perform and maintain data lake and data warehouse administration tasks, including user management, security, and performance tuning

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Data Platform engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Data Warehouse such as Snowflake
- Experience in extending data platform functionalities in line with open table formats like Iceberg, metadata stores like HMS, GDC etc
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with data lake and data warehouse
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Snowflake Experience
- Experience with provisioning and maintenance of Spark, Presto, Kubernetes clusters
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker
- Experience with coding languages such as Python
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
