Assembler Package Heater
Watts Water Technologies
Designs and manufactures water safety, flow control, and energy-efficient solutions for various industries.
Assemble a variety of sub-assemblies and perform bench or floor erection to complete package heater units.
Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components into finished heater units.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks.
Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard or bump caps, and hearing protection as required while present on the shop floor.
Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.
Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and ensure a high-quality finish on units as part of the final assembly process.
Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Must understand Kanban; use Kanban cards and to reorder parts.
Ability to handle light and average weight parts.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.
Ability to work safely.
Ability to move up to 2,000 lbs. of equipment using pallet jacks, dollies and overhead cranes.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
2 years' experience in mechanical assembly.
Punctuality and dependability.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including drug screen, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Physical awareness: ability to work in an environment with active fork trucks.
Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
Skilled in precision fitting of components to meet tight tolerances and engineering specifications.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.
