Generate or review acceptance test plans and oversee or observe testing/commissioning.
Participate in project planning, outages and construction processes.
Perform heavy manual labor, i.e. push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Generate detailed reports and presentations to inform and guide Central Engineering capital planning and all levels of management.
Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday
Review and maintain System Descriptions, P&IDs and other design basis documentation.
Interface with and track activities of equipment and service providers, both inside and outside the Company.
Perform root cause analysis of component failures and forced outage.
Provide engineering support to the Astoria LNG Plant and the Hunts Point Compressor Station.
Perform System Condition Assessments to identify and document system or component deficiencies, review equipment operation, and generate and drive corrective actions.

Master's Degree with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of engineering work experience in the gas or power generation industries.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 8 years of engineering work experience in the
Driver's License Required
Must be flexible to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities and meet deadlines, required.
Ability to obtain an in-depth knowledge of Company industry codes, standards, procedures, and specifications related to LNG plant design and compressor station systems, required.
Experience in LNG plant design and compressor station systems design, preferred.
Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments

Must possess strong technical competence, be well organized, and detail oriented, required.
Effective leadership skills
Knowledge of utility industry safety standards and process safety measures, required.
