Deliver targeted training programs on industrial hygiene principles, practices, and PPE use, while mentoring site teams to build technical capability and foster continuous learning.
Provide expert guidance on occupational exposures, emerging risks, and control strategies, and deliver detailed reports and presentations with actionable recommendations to support risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
Lead the enterprise-wide Industrial Hygiene Programs by developing and implementing standards and procedures, ensuring consistency across all sites, and managing monitoring for chemical, physical, and biological hazards to proactively reduce risk.
Collaborate with Health & Safety leaders to integrate hygiene into broader workforce health strategies and support Occupational Medicine programs, including medical surveillance and respiratory protection.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice; represent the company with regulators and professional bodies; and monitor regulatory changes to keep internal policies and practices up to date.
Lead risk assessments and exposure monitoring, including workplace evaluations, air and noise sampling, data analysis, and timely reporting to ensure compliance and proactive risk management.
Validate monitoring programs and risk controls for effectiveness, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Skilled in exposure assessment and risk evaluation, including monitoring chemical, physical, and biological agents using validated methodologies and applying statistical analysis to interpret data and identify trends and risks
Atleast 4 years of experience in industrial hygiene within manufacturing or similar environments
Experience with monitoring equipment and data platforms
Strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence senior leaders, regulators, and technical experts.
Occupational Hygiene Knowledge: Deep understanding of exposure risks, especially related to silica, and control strategies.
Advanced certification or eligibility with a recognised body (e.g., COH® – Certified Occupational Hygienist or CIH® – Certified Industrial Hygienist) (preferred)
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and occupational hygiene best practices.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial environments managing workforce exposure risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Hygiene, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
