C++ Software Engineer/Senior C++ Software Engineer

Description

• Enhance support for architectural formats such as DWG, PDF, and IFC
• Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to front-end features using React (bonus).
• Optimize rendering and visualization of 2D/3D drawings for accurate takeoff
• Develop and maintain C++ modules for drawing interpretation, measurement automation, and BIM integration
• Ensure performance, stability, and scalability across native and web environments
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to deliver intuitive user experiences

Requirements

• Experience with React.js or similar front-end integration
• Familiarity with file parsing, geometry processing, and rendering pipelines
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later)
• Understanding of construction workflows and digital takeoff processes
• Exposure to cloud-based collaboration or SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with BIM standards and interoperability frameworks
• 5+ year experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD software, architectural drawing formats, or BIM tools
• Knowledge of rendering libraries (e.g., OpenGL, WebGL)
• Solid grasp of software engineering principles and design patterns
