- Secure all required internal approvals, managing the full contract lifecycle and ensuring senior management sign-off for each transaction.
- Originate, qualify, secure, negotiate, and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for wind, solar, and battery projects, driving forward RWE’s commercial ambitions.
- Lead the response to RFPs and develop robust relationships with customers, representing RWE in all key commercial interactions.
- Represent RWE at industry events and keep stakeholders updated on business developments, fostering visible leadership and cross-departmental alignment.
- Provide strategic market and energy marketing insights—leveraging your understanding of renewable policies, REC values, energy curves, and congestion—to inform project development and customer targeting.
- Coordinate terms and conditions of all contracts, collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations to ensure compliance and alignment.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, comfortable in a commercial, outward-facing role
- Proven ability to manage and execute commercial agreements in renewables (wind, solar, storage)
- Courage to take initiative and contribute ideas in a fast-paced team, while fostering collaboration and delivering results
- Good understanding of US energy markets, contracting principles, and regulatory context
- Professional experience in PPA origination, structured transactions, or energy contract negotiation in the US power or similar markets
