Collaborate with project managers, plant engineers, plant operations staff, Information Systems (IS), and other internal staff.
Design, develop, and test new control systems as well as maintain and modify existing systems.
Identify technology and innovation opportunities in the areas of instrumentation, process control, automation, and data analytics.
Provide occasional on-call support with flexibility to work irregular hours to ensure smooth project implementation and promptly address facility issues.
Utilize trusted contractors and internal resources to maintain and expand the corporate data historian (OSIsoft PI) and Asset Framework structure.
Participate in developing, implementing, and maintaining global standards for instrumentation, control systems, OT network infrastructure, and corporate data historian.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Work safely and promote solutions that preserve or enhance the safety culture within Graymont.
Seek and evaluate opportunities to leverage value from data visualization and analytics software tools integrated with the corporate data historian.
Develop, test, and support programming for expert control systems (ECS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), and operational technology (OT) networks.
Support automation at facilities through instrument calibration, control loop tuning, and optimization of advanced process controls.
