The Valve Repair Technician, reporting to the Repair Supervisor, installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical regulating and controlling devices, safety, and flow valves. The role requires adherence to detailed procedures and accurate documentation of work.

Follow valve repair, disassembly, and reassembly procedures per instructions.
Review work orders and select proper replacement parts.
Perform bubble leak testing and valve bench testing.
Complete work orders, inventory, and calibration logs.

High school diploma/GED and mechanical aptitude with hand tools and torque wrenches.
Ability to read basic drawings, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 lb continuously.
Knowledge of VLS Quality Assurance Manual, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Prior experience with bubble leak tests, bench testing, and valve removal/reassembly.
Experience maintaining orders, inventory, and calibration logs.
Ability to stand long periods, work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and at heights up to 15 ft.
Availability for full-time Monday‑Friday schedule, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Must pass physical, drug screen, and background checks.
