Electrical Technical Specialist

Technical troubleshooting and leadership for electrical systems in cold rolling.
Develop, manage, and implement small capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects.
Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues.
Design of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies.
Respond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basis.
Act as direct support of the Maintenance Organization and Process Engineering.
Work together with craft employees.
Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.
Assist with and coordinate lockout/tagout safety procedures.
Assist in justification of new equipment.
Be involved with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods.

Strong written and oral communications skills.
5 years’ experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, etc.
Associates or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
5 years of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with electrical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications.
Proficient problem solving and creative thinking skills.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Experience in installing, programming, and troubleshooting AC drives, DC drives and AB Logix5000 series Programmable Logic Controllers.
Familiarity with instrumentation including HART communications.
Gas fired combustion system exposure desired.
Strong maintenance background.
