Project Director (Justice)

Description

• Act in an advisory role assisting the client with initiating and setting goals for programs based on the strategic objectives
• Ensure Project Management Plan and Procedures Manuals are developed in accordance with contract requirements
• Represent Vanir or client in public forums and meetings
• Function as, or assigns, the Facility Administrator role in Vanir's Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and performs all duties. Works closely with Vanir Director of Health, Risk and Safety to resolve safety concerns or questions
• Identify new marketing opportunities and develops leads for new projects
• Assist in proposal preparation and coordinating interviews
• Marketing and Business Development Lead identification and follow up; proposal and interview preparation.
• Provide leads on new work from existing clients
• Negotiate and monitor fee consumption and actual contribution versus budget.
• Supervise project team and ensures quality services consistent with Vanir procedures, client goals, and contract responsibilities on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment

Requirements

• Project and program management experience; owner's representation
• Must be able provide leadership to a team consisting of multiple firms.
• Knowledge of delivery methods, construction and consultant contracts and selection/ procurement process, contract administration, budgeting, estimating and cost control, CPM scheduling and schedule management, and safety
• Must have experience in justice, correctional markets
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
• Minimum of 15 years experience in progressively increasing positions of responsibility on complex projects/programs.
• Experience in multiple delivery methods (PDB, DB, CMAR, JOC, CSP/Best Value) is required.
