● Create and maintain the internal calendar to track and ensure the timely submission of funding proposals, grant renewals, and required reports

● Research, coordinate and write proposals and reports for a wide variety of corporate and foundation grants with a focus on renewals as well as individual giving proposals

● Establish and manage stewardship and donor relations program for Westhab’s donors

● Assist with communications including social media and author nominations

● Research prospective individual and institutional funders to create briefings for Vice President and CEO

● Monitor program compliance for continuity for grant/gift administration in collaboration with finance and program colleagues

● Support development events and projects including proofreading documents

● Maintain the donor database, produce reports to track fundraising efforts, and help analyze data to inform strategies

● Support operations for board and committee meetings

SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will be a resourceful and energetic team member who wants to grow and learn about all aspects of fundraising. The Development Coordinator must have good writing skills and be an organized, keen, collaborative, and flexible project manager who can build and maintain strong relationships.
