Description

A successful Gardener enjoys working outdoors and has a strong understanding of plant care. They’re responsible for keeping gardened areas healthy and beautiful, with common Gardener job duties and responsibilities including:
Cleaning up garden areas
Using and maintaining gardening tools and light gardening machinery
Following safety guidelines for applying chemicals and using equipment
Planting all types of plants, including flowers, shrubs and trees
Providing recommendations for gardens
Identifying and treating diseases, pest infestations and other issues with garden plants
Maintaining plants by watering, fertilizing and trimming them
Handling edging, mulching and other garden tasks
