Construction Coordinator - Projects Team
Electricity North West
Delivers electricity to 2.4 million people across the North West, ensuring reliable power supply.
Manage a portfolio of high voltage connection and diversion works, maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring customer objectives are met.
Manage project’s ensuring works are completed in line with the Customers objectives, identifying areas of performance for improvement and provide recommendations of solutions
Attend on site meetings with contractors and customers as appropriate
Review progress in line with the work bank and report on the progress of the programme, identifying efficiency savings for the business
Facilitate the formal handover of planned projects from design to delivery teams and to reach agreement on programme and financial constraints with delivery teams and customers
Support our delivery partners in liaison with local authorities, other public bodies and other statutory utilities as necessary
Answer technical queries raised by the contractor and provide solutions.
Ensure ENWL standards of health and safety are maintained in line with company and HSE regulations
Promote the importance of Customer satisfaction and improved interaction with customers on site;
Hold regular progress meetings with stakeholders to provide feedback, address areas of concerns, forecast spend and plan future works
Certify contractor payments on completion of works including approval of variations ensuring projects are managed effectively
Provide support to Design Engineers on construction aspects of work and where necessary, facilitate coordination between design and construction teams
Manage operational contractor related risks and manage the Delivery Partners works ensuring they are completed in line with Electricity North West’s policies and procedures
Ensure ENWL systems are updated accurately and timely

Be an excellent communicator;
Have experience of health and safety compliance;

Hold ENWL LV Operational Authorisation (desirable)
Hold a minimum of an ONC / City and Guilds level qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience within the electricity distribution industry (essential)
Have proven programming and planning skills;
Have proven influencing skills;
Have experience working within a team.
Have proven report writing skills and literate with Microsoft office applications including Microsoft Excel;
