  • Lead the provision of HV, electrical, OT and Cyber Security engineering discipline technical and technoeconomic support for all projects throughout the full investment lifecycle, balancing between in-house and external service providers, and combining lowest cost with maximum knowledge build-up and flexibility.
  • Monitoring projects from technical and techno-economic aspects with regards to all HV & electrical engineering discipline, ensuring maximum value creation, measured through levels of innovation, adoption, and successful deployment of technology in projects.
  • Provide technical support for other team members and intervene with external stakeholders (e.g. with lenders technical advisor LTA during TDD) safeguarding Masdar interest
  • Provide insights on testing/commissioning protocol and other technical specifications within the EPC/O&M contracts and definitive agreements
  • Contribute to the execution of the Engineering annual objectives in line with Masdar’s vision, mission and overall strategy.
  • Lead and manage technical support for assessing the HV & electrical infrastructure part of power projects for Masdar
  • Provide strategic contribution and ensure risk management processes in place through analyzing how Engineering can set new technological and environmental trends and support business incubation in Abu Dhabi.
  • Participate in streamlining the technical process and procedure and Electrical standards
  • Manage the revision of critical design aspects and critical list creation during the execution phase within the domain.
  • Support technically the Portfolio Management team, as required, in operational matters that may rise during the asset lifetime.

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field is an asset
  • 12-15 years of experience in in the renewable energy industry (preferably with an EPC contractor, engineering firm or technical consultant) or equivalent experience
