Senior Electrical Engineer

Description

The role involves designing medium‑voltage power distribution systems, creating various electrical schematics and layouts, and providing full‑cycle customer support from application consulting to project execution, while working closely with internal manufacturing and supply chain teams.

• Produce high‑quality deliverables such as drawings, bills of material, and service documents
• Verify compliance with project objectives, technical specifications, and safety standards
• Drive continuous improvement of design processes, technical knowledge, efficiency, and service level
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, supply chain, purchasing, and customer service functions
• Translate customer requirements into one‑line, three‑line, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
• Interpret medium‑voltage equipment drawings and specifications accurately
• Utilize engineering tools including SEE XP, AutoCAD, Symmetry, LDS, and ODM+
• Manage and resolve manufacturing E‑Andon alerts promptly
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers

Requirements

Schneider Electric North America Operations Power Systems Division is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Mount Juliet, Tennessee facility. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and possess industry experience in the electrical power sector.

• Hold a 4‑year electrical engineering degree and at least 2 years of medium‑voltage design experience
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a proactive learning attitude
• Be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
