Electrical Design Engineer

Description

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and project delivery teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent and project objectives are met.
• Support commissioning and handover phases with technical input and design validation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Develop and review detailed electrical designs for data centre projects (LV, MV, and HV systems).
• Prepare design documentation, specifications, and drawings in accordance with project and client requirements.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, lighting, and earthing.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM tools.
• 3–8 years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within data centre or large industrial/commercial projects.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
