Senior Engineer, Geologist or Scientist

Senior Engineer, Geologist or Scientist responsible for managing environmental remediation projects and leading a project team to meet project profitability goals and manage both internal team performance and client expectations.
Oversee proposals and business development activities.
Complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher classes
Lead and mentor junior staff members and work in collaborative team situations to solve problems and advance projects.
Perform multi-media site assessment sampling and field oversight of drillers or other subcontractors. This includes planning for the field events and preparing cost estimates
Evaluate remedial technologies, including comparative analyses; evaluate human health and ecological risk; develop concept-level remedial design plans; and evaluate chemical transport and fate in the environment
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards and project goals.
Analyze data using advanced techniques, including statistical evaluation, database development and manipulation, and preparing GIS and 3-dimensional maps and models

Minimum 7 years of professional consulting experience, or combination of consulting and other relevant professional environmental experience.
Possess or plan to possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or Professional Geologist (PG) license
Experience performing environmental collection, monitoring, sampling, testing and basic evaluation
Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel - ability to mobilize to a site with little notice may be occasionally needed
Master’s degree in engineering or environmental-Related Science (Geology) from an accredited four-year college or university
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment where you handle multiple project assignments and meet strict deadlines
Proficiency with ArcGIS and Microsoft Access are a plus
Ability to establish and maintain long-term working relationships with clients
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
