- Ensure dashboards are tailored to different user needs, from high-level summaries to detailed operational views
- Data analysis & insight generation – gather, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Present complex data in a user-friendly and visually compelling manner to support regional delivery managers and stakeholders
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover key business opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data infrastructure and integration
- Develop and produce outage performance reporting for the area, working closely with SO on a daily basis to understand movements
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide meaningful insights for operational and strategic decision-making
- Support the implementation of data governance best practices to ensure consistency reliability
- Process improvement & automation – identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes through automation
- Data visualisation & reporting – develop, maintain and optimise interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI and other data visualisation tools
- Support forecasting and predictive modelling efforts to enhance business planning

- SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise and organise
- Strong SQL skills and a knack for working with large datasets to uncover trends and insights.
- Experience in using financial models (in excel or other).
- Highly numerate, literate, and analytical.
- Knowledge and understanding of the RIIO regulatory deal
- The ability to communicate technical information in a way that makes sense to everyone, from frontline teams to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a drive to deliver high-quality work.
- Degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics or another related field
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting and visualisation
- Knowledge of the Planning Processes across all work types.
- Self-motivated and results orientated
- A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stajkeholders
- Expert in PowerBI for building dynamic dashboards and reports
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field like computer science, business analytics etc
- Analytical mind – ability to work with large sets of data.
- Good relationship, communication and presentation skills
- Solid experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development — especially using PowerBI.
