Visits the construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.
Responsible for the technical accuracy and competency of projects.
Monitors clients’ project delivery goals and proactively identifies issues and obstacles which may compromise or influence the achievement of such goals.
May assist in reviewing the contracts to safeguard the firm’s exposure against risks associated with scope, fees, and schedule along with contract language which allocates unreasonable and uninsurable liability to the firm.
Coordinates with all disciplines (internal and external) involved in project delivery and ensures that the project team understands their scope, schedules, and budgets.
May secure executed contracts, Notice to Proceed, and Sub Consultant Agreements prior to the inception of project services.
They develop and implement accounting policies for the company and make sure those policies are followed. Accounting managers also supervise bookkeeping and other financial activities.
Monitors project delivery in relation to the contracted scope and fees. Promptly identifies client-requested out-of-scope services and works diligently with the client in either securing additional compensation or limiting efforts to the contracted scope of work while ensuring the client is aware of the limits of negotiated scope.
May negotiate contracts with clients along with developing scope, fees, and schedule.
Prepares and oversees the creation of complex reports, studies, permits, design computations, plans, quantities, and cost estimates for various projects.
Signs and seals assigned project documents.
Attends client and public meetings (days, evenings, or nights).
Responsible for using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Schedules project progress meetings with all disciplines and personnel to monitor project progress as defined by management.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
Proven leadership skills with engineering staff and organizations.
The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience as Civil Engineer, including a minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager and experience as a Civil Engineer
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment who can work on and contribute to several projects simultaneously.
