Overview

Design and QA 3D civil models for mineral processing projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Tasks

-Preparation of drawings according to project design criteria -Coordination of a multidisciplinary project team of designers across multiple offices -Facilitation of project model reviews, and follow up of action items (tags) -Monitoring and enforcement of project drafting standards -Application of project defined regulations, codes, and standards -Compliance with all Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements. -Development of mechanical layouts in 2D and 3D environments -Assistance with forecasting and monitoring of budgeted hours

What You Bring

-Experience: We’re looking for someone with 4-8 years’ experience in the Layout of Mineral Processing Plants in a multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment -Well-developed written and oral skills -Educational Background: A Diploma in Mechanical engineering Technician’s diploma or equivalent Drafting Technology from a recognized college is essential to kickstart your career with us. -Construction Knowledge: While not mandatory, having experience in construction or contract administration would be a great asset to our team. -Willingness to travel when required to the clients job site for reviews and to gather field or system data. -Gold and Copper commodities experience -Design Experience: If you have experience in structural and architectural design, that would be a fantastic addition to your skill set. -Working knowledge of HEXAGON SmartPlant preferred or similar (AutoCad / AutoPLANT (3D), Microstation) -Team Player: We value collaboration, so a demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is crucial. -Experience with Smartplant, Industrial projects, and core mechanical design (such as chutes and plate work) would be considered an asset -Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
