Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer / Senior Project Manager

Description

• Providing marketing and support during the procurement and execution of projects
• Assisting in marketing business opportunities with key clients and development of responses to RFPs/RFQs
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
• Leading teams in the delivery of water/wastewater projects
• Hydraulic modeling
• Consistently managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Participation in local professional organizations, preparing, and presenting market specific papers and presentations
• Work in collaboration with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD) in producing plans and specifications

Requirements

• Excellent design team leadership skills
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in either Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Risk and resiliency consulting and design
• Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills
• Master of Science (MS) degree
• Strong client relationship skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
• Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering
• Desire and ability to manage and mentor staff
• Data analytics, GIS, process automation, dynamic system modeling, and smart water system planning, design, and implementation
