- Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders regarding training schedules, progress, and outcomes.
- Work closely with plant managers, supervisors, and HR to understand training needs and objectives.

- Manage and deliver “Banker U” training programs.
- Create training materials, including manuals, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Ensure testing processes are fair, consistent, and aligned with the company's skill requirements.
- Maintain Mentor/Trainer list.
- Develop individualized training plans to enhance the skills and productivity of the workforce.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve training programs for all levels of employees in the steel fabrication process.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Implement improvements to training programs based on feedback and new developments in the field.
- Design and oversee pre-employment tests to evaluate the skills of potential new hires.
- Assess the skill levels of current shop employees and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the hiring team based on test results.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions in welding, fitting, and other key fabrication processes.
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical school or certification program in welding/fitting or a related field.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a structural steel fabrication environment, with at least 3 years in a training or supervisory role.
- May require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of welding, fitting, and steel fabrication processes.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Excellent instructional and presentation skills.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
