

Owns, develops and operates premier shopping malls, outlet centers and mixed‑use retail destinations worldwide.
The position is based at Westfarms. Its primary purpose is to protect and enhance the owner's real estate assets by translating center objectives into operations, marketing, leasing, and profit‑enhancing programs, while directing subordinates to achieve these goals.
The role drives EBITDA growth by expanding all income sources and controlling expenses within Procure‑to‑Pay parameters. It oversees net‑profit programs such as redistribution, parking services, and waste handling, and develops a comprehensive strategic business plan that addresses the center's opportunities and needs.
Leasing performance is a core focus, with responsibility for maximizing permanent local leasing results from lead generation through tenant opening, and supporting leasing representatives in strategy execution. The incumbent also builds strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants, addresses tenant issues, coordinates permitting, and partners with security services to implement customized safety programs and emergency management plans.
Marketing and visual standards are maintained through the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing plans, utilization of technology and social media, and upkeep of retail zone presentation, including strategic placement of kiddie rides and vending. The leader creates a world‑class shopping experience by managing contracted services, preventive maintenance, and energy and capital plans, while developing and retaining a high‑performing mall team through training and policy adherence.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in shopping centers or a comparable retail environment, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and possesses strong analytical, budgeting, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
