The Account Manager – Solar is a key member of the Key Accounts team, responsible for owning solar projects end‑to‑end, from pricing and planning through execution and delivery. This role manages proposals, schedules, budgets, and client deliverables while collaborating closely with program managers, subcontractors, and safety teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑time execution.
Beyond day‑to‑day account ownership, the Solar Account Manager leads all solar‑related activities and supports company‑wide operational excellence initiatives. The focus is on improving efficiency by streamlining workflows, introducing automation, and leveraging AI‑driven tools to optimize processes, enhance visibility, and boost cross‑team performance.
Success in this role requires strong communication and organizational abilities, a proactive ownership mindset, and creative problem‑solving. Technical expertise includes solar construction and operations, understanding electrical and construction drawings, drone mapping, thermography, and robust diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field, and have 2‑3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and coordinating subcontractors. Familiarity with FAA Part 107 regulations, UAS operations, and project management software such as Jira is also required.
