  • Deliver hands-on training and demonstrations for contractors, teaching best practices for applying sewer and manway coating systems.
  • Continue developing expertise in corrosion prevention, coatings technology, application techniques, and inspection tools.
  • Partner with customers and internal staff to troubleshoot product questions, resolve field issues, and ensure coatings are applied correctly.
  • Conduct on-site fieldwork such as job start-up support, product demonstrations, failure analysis, and sample testing.
  • Support municipalities and contractors by ensuring projects meet both technical and compliance requirements.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on evolving industry standards, test methods, and application technologies.
  • Maintain or pursue certifications like NACE Coating Inspector, SSPC, and NASSCO Manhole Inspector.
  • Serve as a field application specialist, ensuring surface preparation, mixing, and application meet Tnemec standards.
  • Act as the company’s go-to liaison for sewer and manhole rehabilitation products.
  • Provide technical research summaries, failure analysis reports, and field trip documentation to support ongoing projects.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with plural component equipment
  • Ability to travel extensively (nights, weekends, and extended projects included)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Physically able to lift 100 lbs and work at heights
  • Manhole rehabilitation experience (minimum 5 years required)
  • Comfort with basic math and reporting
  • NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification (or higher) strongly preferred
  • TWIC clearance
  • NASSCO Manhole Inspector Certification (MACP): Provides a standardized way to assess and document the condition of manholes and underground structures essential for municipalities and contractors.

  • NASSCO Manhole Inspector certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
