Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Protector
Set up, maintain, and remove Advance Warning Signs, Channelizing Devices, and other traffic control devices according to Federal, State, and/or Local Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for simple and intermediate complexity work zones.
Drive a company vehicle to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to and from work sites safely and in a timely manner. May also pull lightweight trailered equipment.
Follow all company safety procedures and practices.
The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Notify Supervisor of any potential safety issues or incidents.
Maintain a Flagger Station by standing and controlling road users through the use of hand signals with a STOP/SLOW Paddle.
Position lifts or carries objects up to 50 pounds.

Prior experience preferred in temporary traffic control services, utility industry, or construction industry preferred.
Valid Driver’s License void of suspension or revocation.
Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification or 2000+ verifiable hours required.
Stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field
Must be able to follow safe workplace practices.
Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management systems.
Achieve organizational required training within timeframe established by. Project Manager or Facility Manager.
Position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb
Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
Frequent exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise level in the work environment.
High School Diploma or GED completion required.
Effective radio communication with team members on work site.
