Director of Land & Site Development

Description

• Mentor and train employees.
• Oversee and manage NV5 staff and consultants on civil design projects.
• Establish, maintain and monitor schedules, budgets and staffing for projects.
• Provide ongoing engineering review and evaluation of designs for compliance with criteria, standards and specifications on each project.
• Build client relationships and lead civil design business development efforts in the Pacific Northwest.
• Responsible for creating and executing business plans for the group.
• Manage extensive close-out project procedures including working with contractors, purchasing, and financial analysts.

Requirements

• Experience in managing projects and leading project teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in transportation engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Minimum of 3 years of previous management experience or 5 years of project management experience
• Minimum of 3 years with business development within the civil design market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
