Procurement Expertise: Significant professional experience (typically 8-12 years) in project procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within a complex industrial environment.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in SAP or other major ERP systems, and comfortable with procurement-specific software and tools.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree would be beneficial.
Strategic Negotiator & Analytical Problem-Solver: Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to inform superior negotiation and influencing skills, consistently achieving favorable, data-driven outcomes in complex and challenging situations.
Travel Ready: Willingness to travel national and international as required to meet with suppliers and project teams (approximately 15-20%).
Global Project Experience: Proven track record of managing procurement for international projects, with a strong understanding of global supply chains, customs, and logistics, particularly in a European context.
Communication Champion: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English (both written and verbal). You can articulate complex ideas clearly, influence stakeholders, and build rapport effortlessly across cultures.
