As Scheme Manager you will be the friendly face of the scheme, supporting the Delivery Manager with day‑to‑day operations and ensuring residents feel safe, supported and empowered to live independently. You will act as the primary point of contact for residents, contractors and external agencies.
You will own essential safety checks, including health and safety, fire safety and the warden call system, ensuring compliance with standards and consistently high service levels. Your detail‑oriented, proactive approach will enable you to identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns, and take appropriate action to prioritise residents’ wellbeing.
This is a permanent, part‑time position (26 hours per week) based at Highgates in Derby, the UK’s most central city. Stonewater is seeking a proactive and caring individual to help people live independently in a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for candidates with experience in housing or customer‑facing roles, strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and a willingness to learn new systems. The ideal applicant is a self‑starter with excellent record‑keeping, organisational and problem‑solving abilities, and a passion for helping others.
Clear communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with residents, colleagues, contractors and external agencies. You should take pride in delivering excellent customer service, including resolving feedback and complaints, and be able to meet deadlines while maintaining high‑quality work.
