Project Control Manager

Description

The Project Controls Manager will establish and maintain effective tools and systems to support project delivery & reporting, supporting the Project Director and other members of the Project Leadership Team. The ideal Project Controls Manager will be well adverse in delivering complex construction projects.

• Lead project level reporting and the timely informing of management to drive compliance
• Produce Execution Schedules in conjunction with the Project Planner
• Agree contents and compile information for H&S File
• activities and reporting. Develop requirements for the Information Delivery Plan
• Compile Monthly Report, obtaining information from project team
• Co-ordinate production of Earned Valved analysis Effectively communicate with Joint Venture parties’ in-house teams and with clients on project controls issues
• Serve as a point of contact for pricing, cost control, planning/scheduling, document control, BIM and/or risk analysis
• Oversee documents control activities in particular use of Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Provide support to members of the construction management and commercial/QS team, in cost estimating, programming, risk management, resource forecasting, change management and document control including BIM
• Oversee the BIM plan implementation and ensure nesting within wider project controls
• Provide continuity between the cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating functions and deliverables

Requirements

• Understanding of scheduling/programming, cost forecasting, dashboards and senior level reporting
• Knowledge of construction techniques in particular water projects
• BIM and document management
• Joint venture project experience would be advantageous
• Bachelors or Masters within Business, Finance/Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts & practical experience of change management
• Proven experience of large complex construction projects
